From Drawing to Treasure
I have a child that loves to draw. He is constantly making family members papers to add to their refrigerator collection. We have cases of colored pencils, cases of crayons, and several cases of water colors. I will always find him at the dinning room table creating another masterpiece. He loves to draw special messages of “I love You’s” and pictures of the family. Many of his drawings are mailed to the Grandparents or Aunts so they can have some for their collection also.
For Christmas one year we took one of his best drawings and made it into a tapestry to give to the grandparents. The bright colors he used turned out spectacular. My child’s art work was woven right in to the blanket. The Grandparents received a gift they can treasure for many years to come and my child was able to see his art work turn into a special treasure.
