Kids are NASCAR’s Biggest Fan Base
Last year the Daytona 500 was viewed by over 30 million people and over 180,000 people came to view in person during rainy weather. Who do you think is one of the biggest fans of NASCAR? According to ESPN 12- to 17-year-olds have increased NASCAR’s fan base by more than 12 percent since 1999. I can see this in my own home, boys love cars. One of their favorite toys as a toddler was the little match box cars. As they grow older they may give up the match box cars but not their love of cars.
A perfect gift for a NASCAR lover is a personalized NASCAR CD with the announcers broadcasting your child’s name. For my middle son we had a birthday party at a local Indy race car track. This CD was perfect to play in the background while people were arriving. It builds the kids excitement to race each other in their cars and was perfect for our party theme.
