Remembering Baptism
There are several events that I want to remember about my kid’s childhood: their birth, first day of school, and their baptism. Each of these are life changing events. Martin Luther said, “remember your baptism and be thankful.” It is a time to share with others the comfort and grace God showers upon us. Baptism represents a new birth and commitment to living according to God’s word.
How do you remember such a special event? First framing your baptism certificate so you can “remember your baptism” as Martin Luther stated is one possibility. Also you can remember this special date by personalizing a high quality photo blanket. By sending in a picture of the church this unique gift will help the one who was baptized remember the special day. This blanket can be hung, used a throw blanket, or saved; either way it gives them an heirloom to pass on for generations.
