Music In School
Not to long ago when children were in school they were constantly hearing, “stay in your seat,” “quite wiggling,” or the famous “sit down.” Music in school has changed that. Now many teachers incorporate music while teaching. It channels the energy into something fun while each child becomes actively involved in learning.

Kids have a natural desire to learn, but if teachers fail to make it enjoyable, the kids will tune out. Music has also shown to help kids who struggle with emotional, social, or language problems. It helps draw them out of their shell and feel more comfortable in their surroundings and in return they are learning. Personalized musical CD’s help develop a child’s self-image and imagination. Dreaming of becoming a fireman, or an airplane pilot, or a farmer through music builds the imagination while teaching the kids about the different jobs. In the process they are moving around to the music and releasing all that energy while learning. Incorporating music in the classroom is win-win situation for teachers and students alike.
