Remember the Season
Ball season is drawing to a close around here and if your boys are like the ones in my neighborhood many of them are raving about who made All Stars this year or how many outs they got during the season. Whether your little sport was an All Star or rode the bench far more often than he would have liked to why not reward him and say “congrats” on his season with a great gift?
Helping our children to feel that they did a good job, even if they don’t feel that they did is important. I’m sure that if anything your son or daughter learned something from their season of baseball, softball or tee ball even. Good sportsmanship and discipline can be learned from a season of playing ball and that is important enough to reward.
Small gifts can help a child to remember the important things such as this in their lives so why not pick up a gift for them to commemorate the season, like I said, whether they are an All Star on the local team or just an ALL STAR in your eyes.
